Reno Bugiardini is HOOPP's Senior Vice President, Information Technology & Facilities Services. He is responsible for Information Technology, Information Management, and Facilities Solutions and Services.
Reno brings more than 20 years of information technology leadership experience to HOOPP, including 10 years as director of technical services. He has been responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of data centres, standardizing processes and policies, increasing system performance, and increasing user productivity and satisfaction at companies throughout North America.

Victoria S. Hubbell
Senior Vice President, Strategy & Stakeholder Relations
Victoria
Hubbell is HOOPP's Senior Vice President, Strategy & Stakeholder Relations.
Victoria
is responsible for strategic planning, marketing and communications,
government relations, public affairs, client
research, new business development, and human resources.
Victoria
joined HOOPP in 2005 from a consulting firm where she was Executive Director.
She held senior management positions with two leading financial services companies
and brings 20 years of strategic implementation, leadership development, and
organizational change experience to the organization. In 2008, she was
recognized by the Women's Executive Network as one of Canada's Most Powerful
Women.
She holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Western Ontario.

David Long
Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer, ALM and Derivatives & Fixed Income
As Senior Vice President, Investment Management & Chief Investment Officer, ALM, Derivatives and Fixed Income, David Long is responsible for Asset/Liability modeling and portfolio construction, Derivatives and Fixed Income, and Short Term and Foreign Exchange.
David joined HOOPP in 2001 as a Senior Portfolio Manager and was promoted in 2006 to Vice President, Derivatives & Fixed Income. David received his Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Brock University and his Masters of Mathematics and Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Waterloo. David also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
David has been a key participant in the development of our current derivatives portfolio strategy and a leader in establishing our current liability driven investment strategy. David is also a member of the HOOPP Asset Mix Committee.

Steven McCormick
Senior Vice President, Plan Operations
Steven is HOOPP’s Senior Vice President, Plan Operations. He is responsible for making recommendations on pension policy development and for matters relating to pension administration as well as the delivery of pension and client services to HOOPP members, pensioners and employers.
With 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Steven has held progressively senior roles in both retail banking and pension benefit administration.
Prior to joining HOOPP, Steven was the Vice President of Retirement Plan Services for a large multinational insurance company, where he implemented customer service strategies and programs that resulted in customer base growth. He also led the transformation of service tools used by clients to improve client satisfaction and increase self-service capabilities.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Carleton University.

David L. Miller
General Counsel & Senior Vice President, Governance
As General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Governance, David Miller manages HOOPP's legal department, serves as HOOPP's Privacy Officer and oversees the Plan's business continuity program.
He joined HOOPP in May 2004, from the Toronto office of a national law firm where he had practised as a financial services lawyer for 17 years.
David earned his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.

Barbara Thomson
Senior Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer
Barbara Thomson is HOOPP's Senior Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for HOOPP financial reporting and planning as well as investment operations, valuation and risk reporting.
Barbara is a finance and operations executive with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to her appointment as Senior Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer, Barbara was HOOPP's Senior Vice President, Plan Operations. Before joining HOOPP Barbara was employed as Vice-President, Fund Administration at a major mutual fund company, where she was responsible for all aspects relating to reporting and taxation of mutual and segregated funds.
Barbara was also Vice President, Fund and Trust Accounting and Project Management Office for a national insurance company.
She is a Chartered Accountant and has an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.

Jeff Wendling
Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer, Equity Investments
Jeff Wendling is HOOPP's Senior Vice President, Investment Management & Chief Investment Officer, Equity Investments, responsible for Public Equities, Real Estate and HOOPP Capital Partners.
Jeff joined HOOPP in 1998 as an Equity Portfolio Manager and was later promoted to Vice President Public Equities and External Management.
Jeff has successfully led HOOPP's Public Equities team through the turbulent markets of the last decade. Jeff has developed a proprietary approach to equity market valuation, which has been a valuable tool in HOOPP's asset allocation. Jeff has also been actively involved in evolving the HOOPP portfolio to a liability driven investment approach. Jeff is a member of the HOOPP Asset Mix Committee.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts and his MBA from the University of Toronto and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
