About Our strategy

The Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) provides healthcare workers with a secure retirement by delivering on our pension promise to over 478,000 members across Ontario.

Our mission, vision and values provide clear direction, purpose and guiding principles for us as an organization as we work to achieve our 2030 Strategy. Our mission defines HOOPP’s core purpose and what we aim to achieve in the present, while our vision outlines long-term aspirations and where we want to be in the future.

HOOPP's 2030 strategy

HOOPP’s strategic plan identifies where we want to be in 2030. The plan is anchored by three clear strategic pillars that build upon our strong foundation and position us to succeed in a rapidly changing world. It leverages our unique strengths and provides us with a consistent set of goals to measure our success.

Maximizing the value of the plan for members

We will offer benefits and services that matter most to our members, with success measured by member satisfaction and a new value metric.
