Plan Operations Leadership
Noam Sela joined HOOPP in January 2026 as Senior Vice President, Plan Operations. In this role, he is responsible for member and employer services, pension products and pension communications.
Prior to joining HOOPP, Noam spent 13 years at OMERS, where he held progressively senior roles across the legal and pensions teams. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Pension Services & Technology, helping to lead day-to-day
pension operations and major initiatives to enhance the experience of more than 600,000 members and 1,000 employers.
Earlier in his career, Noam was an Associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, practicing in the Pensions, Benefits and Executive Compensation group.
Noam holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in 2010. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from York University, with majors in economics and psychology.
