Alpesh Sethia

Alpesh Sethia is HOOPP’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the Information Technology team, while delivering high-value technology solutions to the organization and our members.

With more than 20 years of professional experience in technology, Alpesh’s expertise is deeply rooted in innovation, technology architecture and software development. He has built, inspired and enhanced high-performing technology teams, while also successfully leading many critical technology initiatives including the modernization of exchange trading, market data and service platforms.

Alpesh joined HOOPP in 2023, and prior to that he served as the CTO at TMX Group, a multi-asset class exchange company. In that role he managed enterprise technology functions including architecture, innovation, software development, quality assurance, enterprise data and analytics, project management, as well as technology operations.

Alpesh has a Bachelor of Engineering degree (with distinction) in Software Engineering from Concordia University, as well as the Canadian Securities Course designation.
