Whether investing in companies directly or in top-tier private equity funds with differentiated capabilities, HOOPP Capital Partners believes that private equity is an attractive asset class. Private equity provides superior access to corporate information and due diligence prior to investing, the ability to invest in structured instruments that are tailored to improve the risk/return profile, the opportunity to add value through “active ownership”, and being better aligned with management teams.
The flexibility of HOOPP Capital Partner’s mandate offers qualified companies seeking capital with a wide range of investment possibilities that meet their needs. When investing, our team considers the risk profile of different private equity investments and targets a portfolio weighting with a range of risk and return characteristics in order to deliver a reasonable long-term return for this asset class.
