    How HOOPP’s Board of Trustees is taking the lead on this complex issue

    In a recent op-ed for Top1000 Funds, Gerry Rocchi, HOOPP Board Co-Chair, details the importance of having an effective and efficient board-level governance framework to manage a complex issue like climate change.

    For HOOPP, managing the unique risks and opportunities associated with climate change is critical to continue delivering on our pension promise to members. Earlier this year, HOOPP released our climate change strategy detailing our plan to achieve net-zero emissions in our portfolio by 2050.

    A key part of our climate change strategy is governance and oversight from our Board of Trustees, to ensure we make meaningful progress on our strategy.
