About Our Mission

At the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), we are passionate about pensions and about delivering on our pension promise to over 460,000 members across Ontario. It is what motivates us and guides all aspects of what we do.

Our mission

Our mission is to deliver on our pension promise. While changes in the world around us might require us to shift how we do things, this objective remains the same. We constantly and carefully balance assets and liabilities in a way that aligns with our core promise to our members.
