Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Empowering people to bring their whole selves to work
At HOOPP, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is integral to cultivating a positive culture, while enabling us to attract and retain the best talent who reflect the diversity of our communities. To do this, we endeavour to foster a workplace where everyone
feels respected, accepted and connected, so people can be themselves. This helps employees thrive, which is essential to our success and our ability to deliver pensions to our members.
Through intentional, proactive commitment and continuous improvement, we are working towards integrating EDI into all that we do. Driven by our EDI strategy, we are continually learning, improving and identifying ways that strengthen our workplace as
part of this journey.
We also believe that every HOOPP employee plays an important role in helping build an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace. Together, we work to create equity of opportunity by treating individuals
fairly, recognizing and valuing differences, and removing barriers so we can all succeed.
How HOOPP is taking action
Launched in 2021, HOOPP’s five-year EDI strategy and roadmap is focused on five key strategic goals, each with respective objectives which permeate and strengthen our culture, work environment and business processes.
