HOOPP led the development of iPort Cambridge, a leading tier-1 logistics
and industrial complex located in the center of Waterloo Region, about 100 km west of Toronto. The complex is positioned to provide logistics solutions to companies looking to target both Canadian and U.S. industrial and consumer marketplaces. With
more than 4 million square feet situated on 300 acres, iPort Cambridge is strategically located directly on a major US-Canada transportation corridor with access to over 150 million consumers within one day’s drive, two international airports
and six border crossings.
The development was built with sustainability in mind and incorporates a zero-carbon-ready design that prioritizes carbon emissions reductions and energy efficiency. Through improved roof, precast panel and dock door insulation, energy efficient glazing
system, a reinforced rooftop structure to allow the installation of future solar panels, and an advanced heating system, iPort Cambridges’ innovative zero-carbon-ready features lead the way in recognizing the importance of eliminating building
emissions to achieve national climate commitments.
Making its mark on Brooklyn’s skyline, HOOPP’s The Willoughby merges convenience, comfort and location. This flagship 34-story, mixed-use urban residential rental building has 476 units and is ideally situated minutes away from Manhattan with convenient access to multiple subway lines, other transit options and ample local green space.
The property was designed with community in mind and was developed with 30% of the units included in New York’s affordable housing program and provided living wages for construction workers during development. As well, in partnership with neighbouring Long Island University (LIU), the LIU Athletic Center, including an athletic field, was developed adjacent to the property for students and faculty.
Situated in London’s historic St. James Conservation Area and adjacent to Piccadilly
Circus, HOOPP, in partnership with The Crown Estate, developed One Eagle Place by combining six existing buildings into two while preserving their historical elements. This mixed-use property combines commercial office, retail and residential space
and will be the future home of HOOPP’s London office.
The building was designed with sustainability in mind, harnessing elements such as geothermal energy, and was recognized by the UK’s Building Research Establishment, achieving a BREEAM
Excellent rating.
