HOOPP’s Ambassador program is an important part of our advocacy work. It brings together like-minded individuals who want to discuss and learn about pension-related issues and retirement security in Canada. To reflect a changing environment and a broader program mandate, we are excited to be rebranding the group as The Pension Collective. 

Keeping up with change

Over the years, we’ve gathered valuable insights from current Ambassadors about the program. While we’re proud of how the program has been received and the level of engagement our members have shown, we also recognize that a lot has changed since it launched approximately seven years ago. The pension landscape has evolved, interest in the program continues to increase, and our focus has shifted to include  advocating for retirement security on behalf of all Canadians. 

To align with these changes, and to better reflect how we’d like to grow, we decided it was time to relaunch the Ambassador Program with a new name, fresh look and a renewed purpose. 

Members of The Pension Collective will continue to be part of a community of individuals who want to learn more about topics related to retirement saving, planning and security. They will be provided with a range of valuable information through email, our website and at our special events. Our goal is to provide members with useful information that they’ll want to share during meaningful conversations about retirement security with colleagues, family, friends  and more.
