HOOPP Connect is home to our new online retirement experience
Did you know you can now choose your retirement options entirely online through HOOPP Connect? We’ve designed this online feature with you in mind, so whenever you are ready to retire, you can do it simply and conveniently.
Here’s what you need to know
- It's safe and secure. You’ll be able to access your retirement options directly on HOOPP Connect, your secure member site. You can also download a copy of your confirmed elections at any time.
- It's simple and intuitive. In just a few simple steps, you’ll be able to review your personal information, elect your survivor benefit option and provide your banking information.
- It helps you stay on track. As you complete your online retirement, you’ll be able to track your progress and receive helpful digital reminders to complete your retirement.
This convenient new online feature will be rolled out to eligible members throughout the year.
With the help of our online resources and your personal Member Services Specialist, you’ll have the guidance you need to choose your retirement options, like the right survivor benefits for your personal circumstances.

Keep in mind
If you’re currently working at a HOOPP employer, you will still need to inform your employer of your retirement date so they can initiate your retirement with HOOPP. If you are working for more than one HOOPP employer, you must generally retire from all employers where you were enrolled in HOOPP.
