We are pleased to let you know that we have updated HOOPP Connect, your secure member site, with important enhancements and a mobile-friendly design. We are making these improvements to provide you with a better experience and make it more convenient for you to get the pension information you need, when you need it. Here’s what you’ll experience:

An easy way to update your contact and beneficiary information

It’s important to keep your personal contact information up to date and it’s easy to do through HOOPP Connect. 

Now, active and deferred members, can also update their beneficiaries on HOOPP Connect. Whether you are adding a new beneficiary, or changing existing information, you can do it quickly and securely from anywhere on any device.

If you are a retired member and you want to change your beneficiary information, please give us call and we will provide you with everything you need to make an informed decision.

Improved communication

We’ve improved communication for all members with My Inbox being replaced by My Mailbox and Secure Messages. This change will allow you to:

• Use My Mailbox to see electronic copies of your HOOPP documents, including your annual statements, tax slips, and newsletters.
• Use the Secure Messages tool to communicate with HOOPP and easily send attachments.

Mobile-friendly design

You’ll notice that some pages and tools on HOOPP Connect look different; we’ve redesigned them to display better on a variety of devices and screen sizes. Now it’s easier to use your smartphone or tablet to:

• Get income projections at different ages and retirement dates using the Pension Estimator.
• Update your personal information (e.g., home address, email address and phone number) on the Update My Personal Information page. If you are a retired member, you can also update your banking and tax withholding information.
• Find quick links on My Profile Snapshot to tools and resources to learn more about your pension.
